As a graduate from Pal Buddhist School, I've learned that true success doesn't come from just putting 100% of my time into studies, but rather putting 100% of my effort into every facet of my academic, moral, and personal journey in high school. This is what makes Pal's approach to learning unique.
Pal Buddhist School acted as my moral and academic compass during my senior years, teaching me how to use my hands and mind to make a positive change in the world. When I first arrived, I was a shy and doubtful student, but my teachers became my moral compass, my beacon in the dark, and my life coaches. My peers supported and encouraged me to get involved and make a difference in the community, allowing me to serve as Vice Captain, house captain, and senior role model.
Through leadership, creativity, confidence, public speaking, tradition, respect and a community that I called family, I not only excelled academically but also gained the skills necessary to deal with problems after high school.
I know that I owe my success to my school's gifts to me. I am forever grateful to Pal for changing the trajectory of my path in life.
